That I know you, is not enough

That’s what Love is!

That you can satisfy me, is not enough
And, that I can fulfill all your desires is also not the end
But, that our mutual satisfaction quenches the thirst of our individual desires-
That’s what Love is!

That your life is mine, is not enough
And, that mine is all yours, is also not the end
But, that the culmination of our lives should be the epitome of your existence-
That’s what Love is!

That I live for you is not enough
And that you live for me is also not the end
But, that our love for living for each other makes our love live-
That’s what Love is!

That your pains are mine, is not enough
And, that my sorrows are yours is also not the end
But, that the bliss of our being together should drown our combined unhappiness-
That’s what Love is!

That I am perfect, is not true
That you are perfect, is also not the truth
But, that you and I together makes everything perfect-
That’s what Love is!

That I am significant, is not enough
That you are important, is also not the end
But, that when we are one, we make everything else insignificant-
That’s what Love is!

That I am incomplete without, is not enough
That you are half without me, is also not the end
But, that your and my union makes complete out of incomplete-
That’s what Love is!

That I will die for you, is not enough
And, that you will not live without me, is also not the end
But, that we live for each other although it’s like a thousand deaths-
That’s what Love is!

That you worship me, is not enough
And, that I worship you is also not the end
But, that our Love is God and there is no one greater than him-
That’s what Love is!
